HIGHTS Summer Adventure Challenge:

        HIGHTS Summer Adventure Service Challenge is a cost-free ten week program for students needing outside support in the Jackson and Haywood County  Public Schools. The summer program uses outdoor adventure, personal and group development activities, and community service projects to help youth achieve life goals and benefit the community. 

Each week includes: Two days of community service projects, one day of personal and group development programs, and two days of adventure learning.  The beginning of each day will involve a review of the participant’s personal goals and group goals and at the end of the day, each participant will be able to discuss how the day’s activities can be applied to their current lives. The values of nutrition, wellness, and environmentalism are presented throughout each day’s events.
